Maeguerite stood up, being surrounded by trees, which she was used to and wouldn't like to be any where else, this was her home. Strolling around for a little while, Maeguerite heard some normal sounds for the forest terrain. Then they became louder, they're never usually this loud... she thought desperately, slowly turning around, carful not to destroy any moss that has been growing on her, she focused her gaze on a bush that was making the loudest noise of all. 
"If anyone is in there," She made a deep ambling sound in her throat, "you better come out before the bush makes you..." 

[Toothless]

Toothless bounded through the forest, sniffing almost every tree, leaf or plant that he saw. He blinked light green eyes and looked around, opening his mouth wide enough so he could let his tongue loll out. A voice made him perk up his black ears. He grinned, then bounded off into the direction of the deep voice. "Yes, I'm here!" He called, spreading out his wings and flying over the trees so he could get over the bushes.

Maeguerite looked at the dragon approaching her from the sky, "Hello dragon," she rumbled, "What is your name, I'm Maeguerite," She said holding onto her sides in case any moss fell off her as her body vibrated as she talked.

[Toothless]

Toothless smiled and flapped his scales on his back. "I'm Toothless." He said, flying up in the sky and doing a twirl. "Nice ta meet you, Maeguerite!"

Maeguerite dipped her head. "Hello Toothless, how long have you been in the forest for?"

[Toothless]

"What? Oh, no no no, I don't live here. I live in the mountains. This is my first time down here." Toothless replied, flying up high and then falling back down to the ground without spreading out his wings.

"Then what are you doing here?" Maeguerite inquired. "How did you know the way here?" she added.

[Toothless]

"I actually don't know how I got here. I just flew past The High Tree, then I circled a couple of times around Rock Ridge. Then I ate some fish at The Lake, and I got here. So yeah." Toothless replied, shrugging. "What does your den look like?" He asked after an awkward silence, thinking about trying solo-gliding again.

Den? Maeguerite didn't know what Toothless was talking about. But guessing was the closes she had to getting the answer right. Of all the time she spent in the forest, she never knew of a den.
"I don't live in a den," Maeguerite started awkwardly, "I live as myself, a tree."

[Toothless]

"Wait. You mean you don't live anywhere? You just stand there and sleep?" Toothless said, staring at Maeguerite. "A den is a home. You live in it, you can raise your babies, and you sleep in it. It's your base, your territory."

Maeguerite shook her head. "As an Ent," she started, "You freeze into a tree. Turn into a tree. A non-moving tree. I am a tree, but I can move when I'm awake. Your leaves are your shelter." Sounding like her mother when she told her where their home was.

[Toothless]

Toothless wrinkled his nose. "That's weird." He commented, licking his lips and bouncing up and down on the spot.

Maeguerite looked at Toothless and sighed. "Anyway, you came here, I was here, where would you like to go?"

[Toothless]

Toothless shrugged. "Where's the deepest part of the forest?" He asked after short pause, tilting his head.

Maeguerite looked a 200 or so meters behind her and nodded. "There," she told Toothless, turning her head she added, "Now you show me your home." Maeguerite shook her head, "I may be old but I'm not useless."

Toothless laughed. "I can't show you my home! It's in the mountains, far, far from here. And you'd have to fly if you wanted to reach the Jewel Point!"

Maeguerite sighed, "Fine!" You wanted to go to the deepest part of the forest, we'll go." Maeguerite lifted her giants legs and walked to the special tree she used to remember the deepest part of the forest. "After that," she grumbled to Toothless, "We go to the lake," without turing around. "I heard that there were creatures there." Maeguerite paused. Does he know what I'm talking about? The tall ent shook the thought away and continued walking. "Mermaids," she muttered.

Toothless bounded after Maeguerite silently, nodding.

Maeguerite looked back and managed a faint smile as Toothless followed her.

[Toothless]

Toothless grinned back at the ent, and began to flap his wings impatiently. Then he leaped into the sky, faster than light. Flapping black wings, he blinked and pinpointed the location of the river. It was west of the path they were taking. "Hey, we're taking the wrong path! We have to use the western path. This one leads to the mountains."

Maeguerite looked confused. "But I thought you wanted to go to the middle of the forest?"

[Toothless]

Toothless nodded. His face reflected the ent's confusion. "But isn't that way the same path that leads to the middle of the forest?"

The ent shook her head. "That leads to the lake, we go there after." and she continued to walk.

[Toothless]

Toothless tilted his head, then nodded. Flying up again, he spotted a crossroad in their path that led back around to the lake. "Oh, right. There's a crossroad so we can go to the lake that way."

Maeguerite nodded and signaled for Toothless to follow her. "It'll be quick," she promised.

[Toothless]

Toothless tilted his head skeptikley, but decided to follow Maeguerite anyway.

Maeguerite smiled slyly when she heard Toothless follow her. "Why do you want to go there anyway?"

[Toothless]

"I like dark places."

Maeguerite looked at Toothless then shrugged. She continued to walk, but stopped at a crossway. The net looked both ways and chose the correct path. "Almost there," she muttered.

[Toothless]

"Awesome." Toothless said, then readjusted his turning scales on his back. Then he let his pupils stretch out wide, as to catch all light to be able to see things in darkness.
